They say don't judge a book by its cover. Based on the cover, I didn't expect this book to be as good as it was. The cover just didn't draw me in, but I found it in the free section on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try.I enjoyed the pacing and development of this story. The characters were endearing, and the plot was complex without being too complicated.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy love story with some complexities mixed in. The one thing I hate is a predictable storyline, and this is far from that.

I am so tired of reading about self absorbed , sex crazed, money hungry, greedy, selfish characters in books. I could go on and on. I've read so many books lately that have no substance and leave you feeling drained and depressed. Lol.... This is not a book that begins with a lot of funny and / or happy , carefree events happening. It's a beautiful story about strength, courage, faith and love. No story is ever perfect but this still leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside and full of possibilities. Definitely recommend!
This was a Christian book on forgiveness and although it was very clear the author wanted to show us we need to forgive others who have sinned against us,, it was repetitious in that theme. The storyline was predictable and there was very little romance if any between Justin and Pamela. I recommend it to Christians who have in forgiveness in their lives especially against a parent
This is a Christian book with the theme of forgiveness weaved through it. Specifically forgiveness between parents and grown children. It was a fast read and kept my attention and that's hard to do. It was a little predictable but I'm okay with that.

Wow! This book made me teary eyed several times. I guess having lost my dad years ago made the story more meaningful to me. Amazing how God can totally transform a person no matter how bad and dark they were before. Forgiveness does not make the other person right or justify his action but sets one free from bitterness and emotional baggage. This story not only delighted me but encouraged me as well. Love it!
I enjoyed this book. The way things happened was totally unexpected. I loved the strong Christian presence, it was not just skimmed through like some novels. The miracle of God being able to change hearts was strongly shown and the kindness of people as well. I liked that Pamela stood her ground in spite of her feelings towards Justin and him realizing that he needed to change. A wonderful and enjoyable read.
The author is easily able to draw you into the story right along side the others. Easily for me the reader, True giftedness certainly of the author. Depending on the readers life experiences, the visions and emotions while reading were certainly brought to life.
~ I was so ready for a feel good Christian affirming story.. there was plenty of unanticipated story line that helped the reader not feel the outcome was easily predictable. Great setting for a feel good, believable storyline. To God be the Glory.
A very good, well written story. For readers of all ages - there is some possible danger because the crazy drug-selling father wants his child but the child's aunt has, so far, escaped his attempts - but now he wants to kill her -- all because he wants the money he feels his parents will give him if he has the child.
But there is also much more going on. Growing up hurts by drunk parent(s), and the anger that is still there. And the only way to get rid of all that built up anger, is through Jesus Christ.
